Virginia trained at Eastbourne School of Art and Central St Martins where she specialised in textiles. She paints Still Life in gouache, using chalks and wax crayons to build up a richer, more layered effect, but also designs Lino cuts and sewn pictures using felt, sequins and fabric.
Each piece of Dalia’s handmade silver jewellery is unique. Described as exciting, fresh and luscious, the work is crafted with traditional and experimental techniques into both geometric and organic forms, often with gemstone settings.
Penny paints Still Life in oils, and having recently completed a diploma with the Society of Botanical Artists, also paints delicate floral images in gouache and watercolour.

Having been taught from a very young age by my much-loved auntie and uncle who were both artists, I use watercolour ink which makes the work appear magical and illuminated.
