1a. Auricula

Visit Auricula to immerse yourself in a world of treasures. Gemstones from around the globe are brought together by Natasha Caughey to create unique pieces of jewellery. Natasha is a gemmologist and brings this expertise, along with her love of colour, to fashion her designs. Each piece of jewellery is hand-crafted in her Ditchling studio. You can find pieces to suit any occasion, from a chunky bold statement piece to exquisitely delicate items. Along with the beaded work, Natasha is working on a new collection of statement cocktail rings for this year’s festival.

Other studios open at The Turner Dumbrell Workshops this May include those of artists Rosemary Pavey (studio 13) and Philip Dunn (studio 9). Rosemary’s style is primarily figurative and she is inspired by the local landscape. Philip Dunn is famed for his bold and colourful paintings of Brighton seafront. Patricia Gidney (studio 4) will be showcasing her fine calligraphy work along with watercolour paintings and Kate Baker-Brown (studio 5) will have an exhibition of her latest nature-inspired handmade books, prints and textiles.
