Enjoying browsing a carefully curated mix of established and emerging contemporary creatives from across Sussex. Printmaking, painting, jewellery, furniture, ceramics, textiles, wallpaper, botanical portraiture.
Two weekends, each filled with a changing mix of the most vibrant and contemporary makers, artists, and artisans.
The Sussex Contemporary’s vision is simple, we celebrate and promote the fantastic artistic creativity of Sussex-linked artists. Since our first major exhibition held at the i360 in 2022, we have worked with and represented hundreds and hundreds of Sussex linked artists, makers and craftspeople. Sussex has a growing, vibrant arts scene and we actively to showcase the very best of it to the world. We came up with the idea of The Sussex Contemporary to provide artists with global standard platforms to show their work to a bigger audience.
Only showing in beautiful locations that enhance the talented individuals we present, Ditchling has long been a location we have aspired to be involved with. Jo, our Creative Director is a Trustee Director of Ditchling Museum of Arts + Crafts, and as such is keen to support both the museum and the vibrant creative community that exists there.
